Functions
The general activities and functions of JATI are as follows:
- Train the Judges of the Subordinate Judiciary, Government Pleaders, Public Prosecutors and Court Support staff,
- Holding national and international conferences, workshops and symposiums targeted at developing the quality of judicial work;
- Conducting analytical research and publishing the same in journals, books etc.,
- Publishing periodicals and reports on relevant legal and court issues,
- Advising the government on matters relating to court management and/or judicial system,
- And finally any activity deemed necessary and relevant under the Judicial Administration Training Institute Act of 1995.
